Needing a break and taking a break are not mutually exclusive and neither implies failure in the fourth trimester.

You may notice that your baby is a little fussier and seems hungrier the week before your period starts every month.

When our needs are met we feel whole. Making ourselves a priority in the fourth trimester is not selfish. If we can not be whole for ourselves, it is impossible to be whole for others.
